Call for Expression of Interest (EOI) for Baseline Survey

Women for Human Rights, a single women group (WHR) is implementing the Peace Project “People’s Participation in Social Harmony in Nepal”. WHR with the support of Peace Project is conducting a research to examine and analyze the trend of violence against single women and develop a way forward to support the implementation of national and local laws, policies and action plans that address violence against women. The EOI is seeking an experienced and suitable firm or consultants to conduct a Study to analyze the trend of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence against single women with focus on analyzing intersectional discriminations. 

The Consultant will possess wide knowledge on and experience on different types of violence issues, qualitative and quantitative survey design and execution, data analysis and report writing. 

  • Develop the survey design.
  • Design data collection tools.
  • Develop the data collection process.
  • Select the enumerators.
  • Conduct and/or supervise data collection.
  • Develop the data coding and entry in excel sheet. 
  • Conduct data analysis.
  • Compile a research report in line with the terms of reference Timeline: The exercise has to be conducted and finalized one month after selection.
