The Training of Trainers (ToT) on Gendered Norms and Harmful Practices, organized by WHR in coordination with SABAH Nepal and UN Women Nepal, concluded successfully after three impactful days.
Participants explored critical topics including harmful gender practices, their cultural and economic roots, and the profound impact they have on society. Strategies for addressing these harmful practices, promoting gender equality, and fostering economic development through gender-responsive policies were discussed.
The sessions also emphasized the importance of institutional support, stakeholder engagement, and collaborative approaches to create sustainable change. The program concluded with action planning and the distribution of certificates of appreciation to participants for their dedication to advancing gender equality.
