Discussion program on “The Role of Civil Society and Youth in Developing a Human Rights Culture” in WHR Dhanusha

“The development of a human rights culture is a shared responsibility of all.”
A discussion program on “The Role of Civil Society and Youth in Developing a Human Rights Culture” was successfully held in Janakpur Dham, organized by Women for Human Rights (WHR), Single Women Group Dhanusha, with support from Kurve Wustrow.
Key speakers emphasized the importance of education, moral values, culture, and social responsibility in promoting and protecting human rights. They highlighted the need to instill discipline, respect, and ethical behavior in children from an early age, and stressed that both family and schools play a crucial role in shaping children’s character.
Participants also discussed that human rights protection is not only ensured through laws but also through individual behavior, civic awareness, and family values. They called for collective efforts to bring positive social change and strengthen a culture of equality, dignity, and respect.
WHR continues to work in collaboration with civil society, youth, and communities to promote human rights, equality, and justice for all.
