A two-day Empowerment Training against Violence Against Women (VAW) for Home-Based Workers (HBW) leaders in Sunakoti

A two-day Empowerment Training against Violence Against Women (VAW) for Home-Based Workers (HBW) leaders was held in Sunakothi, Lalitpur, in coordination with HomeNet South Asia. The training strengthened participants’ understanding of violence, gender norms, and their rights, with key sessions covering concepts of violence and empowerment, types of violence, community helplines and support networks, economic empowerment, and the roles and responsibilities of HBW leaders in prevention and response.
