A two-day Empowerment Training against Violence Against Women (VAW) for Home-Based Workers (HBW) leaders was held in Chandragiri in coordination with HomeNet South Asia. The training enhanced participants’ understanding of violence, gender norms, and women’s rights. Key sessions focused on the concepts of violence and empowerment, types of violence, community helplines and support networks, economic empowerment, and the roles and responsibilities of HBW leaders in prevention and response.
