Two days Orientation Workshop for Information Volunteer of Gorkha held at WHR Office.
CARE Nepal and Women for Human Rights, single women groups (WHR) are jointly working in 5 VDC’s of Gorkha (Saurpani, Dhuwakot, Mirkot, Choprak, Khoplang) to raise mass awareness among the earthquake survivors for the immediate and longer term services, safety and risk minimization in post earthquake situation.
During the workshop Ms. Sita Aachrya, Women and Children Development Officer (WCO), Gorkha facilitated a session on Human Trafficking, Ms. Rajin Rayamajhi, Legal Officer- WHR facilitated a session on Legal support during the crisis, Ms. Reshma Thapa , Program Manager- WHR facilitated session on Awareness training and weekly reporting format, Ms. Uma Thapa, Communication Officer- WHR presented on overall project and Ms. Pratibha Rijal, GBV/Protection Specialist- Care Nepal facilitated session on Child Marriage, Gender Based Violence and Accountability.
