Women for Human Rights, Single Women Group (WHR)-Chhahari in coordination with Nepal Medical Association and Budhanilkantha Municipality among others has taken initiative in providing cooked warm meals to frontline healthcare workers in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n

The warm cooked meals to the frontline healthcare workers like doctors, nurses, paramedics, ambulance drivers and staff managing dead bodies of COVID patients have been served from WHR’s central office in Hattigauda from 9th of May 2021. As the frontline healthcare workers have been fighting the pandemic to help heal the COVID-19 patients around the clock without even proper arrangement of daily meals, WHR-Chhahari is opting for at least alleviating their strain by delivering them warm meals. Meanwhile, WHR has made preparations for providing quarantine facilities for the people need in collaboration with the government. Likewise, Single Women Group in Banke has started providing nutritious meals to the patients at Banke hospital. <\/p>\n
