As we’re getting ready to send our team to Manakamana VDC, Nuwakot tomorrow (Saturday), we’re still looking to collect as much as we can to provide relief package for 700 households that have been displaced in the area.<\/p>\n

If you’ve got extras of the basic supplies mentioned here or \/and any additional supplies (listed at the end of this message), please drop them off at Chhahari tomorrow (next to Alice restaurant in Gairidhara, opposite alley to SANN College). <\/p>\n

The CDO & his office in Nuwakot wants our assistance in the Manakamana VDC. According to the office, 700 households \/ families has been displaced and they’re in need for food & other basic supplies. No medicines however (they’ve got enough doctors & medicinal supplies). <\/p>\n

Therefore, our team is heading to the VDC on Saturday carrying enough to feed 700 families for 5 days (in our first visit) and more such trips thereafter (distributing enough to at least feed them for 10-15 days). <\/p>\n

This is the basic relief package we’re distributing to the families: <\/p>\n

Basic (mandatory)<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Rice: 5 kg
\n\u2022 Lentil (daal): 1\/2 Kg
\n\u2022 Mixed Beans: 1\/2 kg
\n\u2022 Salt: 1\/2 packet (small packet)
\n\u2022 Bucket: 1 large bucket (enough to fill the contents)
\n\u2022 Cooking utensil (dikchi): 1<\/p>\n
