A beautiful poem by Kasmika B.Ka. Even though Kasmika’s mother is a single woman and from a Dalit family she is working hard to meet her family’s needs by working as a day laborer. She received a scholarship from Opportunity Fund and her hopes are to become a doctor in the future.

Being born a daughter, in future I will do great things.
I will fight for my rights from those who discriminate against people like me.
